Resin sand mixer is a new product developed by referring to the advantages of foreign similar advanced equipment, which has been optimized and improved for many times. It is an ideal equipment for mixing resin sand and sodium silicate sand
(1) The binder supply system adopts advanced imported mechanical diaphragm metering pump to transport curing agent and gear pump to transport resin with adjustable flow. Even if there is viscosity fluctuation, the quantitative accuracy of binder can be ensured to be less than ± 2.0%.
(2) The sand mixing is uniform, which can effectively ensure the molding (core making) quality and molding rate.
(3) The mixing time is short and the loss of head sand and tailing sand is small.

3. Structure and working principle
The resin sand mixer is composed of a base, a sand mixing mechanism, a binder system, a gas path system and an electrical system
System composition.
3-1 base: support and fix the sand mixing mechanism, bonding system, gas system, electrical system and other components.
3-2 mixing mechanism: it is composed of primary mixing cage and secondary mixing cage
It is connected with the base and the two-stage mixing cage by four contact slewing bearing.
(1) Primary mixing cage: the reducer motor drives the shaft of mixing cage to rotate through the elastic coupling, the sand quantitatively entering from the sand inlet is transported forward through the spiral blade, the curing agent is added from the control valve at the near end of the middle section of the mixing cage wall, and the sand is stirred and premixed by small blades.
(2) Secondary mixing cage: the motor base elastic coupling drives the mixing cage shaft to rotate, and the sand with curing agent is sent from the primary mixing cage to the middle section through the spiral blade, and the resin is added from the near end control valve to enter the mixing section. The small blades of the sand mixing section are adjustable, which can adjust the gap between the blades and the stirring cage wall to compensate for the increase of the gap caused by wear, and adjust the angle between the blades and the axis, so as to change the movement direction and speed of the sand. Thus, the ability of sand interpenetration is strengthened, and the better sand mixing effect is achieved.
3-3 binder system: diaphragm metering pump and gear pump, near end control valve and pipe system.
(1) Diaphragm metering pump: the pump adopts imported mechanical diaphragm metering pump, and its pump head material is strong corrosion resistance material, which is mainly used for conveying curing agent. The flow is regulated by the scale on the pump, and its flow is stable and reliable, acid and alkali resistant.
Gear pump: the pump is a constant flow low pressure gear pump with high volumetric efficiency and reliable operation.
(2) Near end control valve: a cylinder drives the rubber valve piece to realize the opening and closing of the adhesive working valve. When the sand mixing is stopped and the working valve is closed, the check valve is opened to blow out the binder in the output channel, while the working chamber and the input pipeline are still full of binder, so as to minimize the pipeline loss, so that the binder can be added immediately in the next sand mixing.
3-4 gas path control system: composed of reversing valve, cylinder and pipe system, it can control the rotary brake, near end control valve, positioning pin, sand gate and other parts.
3-5 electric control system and electrical principle. Sand mixer is an important equipment of resin sand production line. It mixes molding sand (or pure old sand or pure new sand or new and old sand according to various proportions) with corresponding weight of resin and curing agent (acid) and carries out molding after mixing evenly. The electric load of sand mixer is mainly electric motor, followed by electric valve.
Isolation transformer is set in the system to improve the quality index of control power supply.
The system adopts advanced programmable logic controller (PLC) and non-contact control. The signals sent by master devices (buttons, knobs and position electronic detection switches, etc.) are scanned by PLC to form the logic and time electrical control of sand mixer (that is, the user program control is realized through the function of PLC).
In the system, the normal state of each motor (that is, each protection switch is in the normal position) and the closing position of the stirring cage are taken as the operation premise of PLC. In case of abnormal emergency during the operation of the sand mixer, the operation of PLC machine can be stopped manually immediately, and the interlock link of sand bucket sand level of the machine is also set for the operation of the sand mixer.
The system is equipped with a simulation screen to display the running state and some abnormal states of the sand mixer.
